יצירת המופת אחים לנשק (Band of Brothers) היא סדרת טלוויזיה אשר עוסקת בפלוגה איזי (Easy Company), הפלוגה החמישית מגדוד 2, חטיבה 506 מהדיוויזיה המוטסת ה-101 (101st Airborne Division) במלחמת העולם השנייה. הסידרה פותחת באימוני הפלוגה בארצות הברית דרך ההכנות בבריטניה לפלישה לאירופה, הקרבות בחזיתות אירופה השונות עד סיום המלחמה.. הסדרה מבוססת על ספרו של ההיסטוריון סטפן אמברוז, והיא הופקה על ידי סטיבן ספילברג וטום הנקס. לכל פרק במאי שונה.במיני סידרה זו 10 פרקים. בתחילת כל פרק מספרים אנשים ששירתו ביחידה על מה שעבר עליהם, מאחר והסדרה מבוססת על אירועים אמיתיים. ההשראה לסידרה באה לספילברג והנקס בעקבות סירטם להציל את טוראי ראיין.במהלך המלחמה החיילים מוצאים עצמם בקרבות קשים כגון הפלישה לנורמנדי, קרב ארנהם בהולנד, הקרב על הבליטה ועוד.
